  • I agree that hypnosis, including self-hypnosis can be a powerful tool for positive change! Research shows that the majority of our actions are caused by subconscious influences and this is what hypnosis addresses.

    I think if an individual is in such a situation where they are essentially desperate for change, as it is implied, then they have a larger mental problem than something that hypnosis can change. I am very skeptical of hypnosis (if you can’t tell), however I just find it to be something of a lot of concern when you entrust yourself to someone at your most vulnerable state. Even if hypnosis does work, being under someone elses influence is very concerning.
